Besides Albanians, there are also many Greeks, Macedonians, and Albanian Romanians (Aromanians) living in the city. You will pass through the major highway city of Elbasan. The journey from Tirana to Kor\u00e7a is about 163 kilometers, which is a good road by Albanian standards. Along the way, you will pass through Elbasan and Pogradec, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Ohrid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the south \u2013 if you are coming from the southern resorts (Saranda and Ksamil) via the tourist city of Gjirokast\u00ebr and P\u00ebrmet. The <a href=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/driving-the-sh75\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/driving-the-sh75\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SH75 road<\/a> is considered the most beautiful in Albania but has the worst road surface.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are traveling through the Balkans and are coming (most likely by private car) from Greece or Macedonia, it&#8217;s only about 15-20 kilometers from the border to Kor\u00e7a.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Useful to know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite>You can also reach Kor\u00e7a by bus. From Tirana, it takes about 4 hours and costs 500 leks (there are 6-7 buses daily). From Saranda, it takes 6 hours (4 hours from Gjirokast\u00ebr), with one daily departure at 4 am. However, taking the bus might limit your ability to stop at many interesting places along the way. It produces beer that you can order in any caf\u00e9 or bar as &#8220;local beer.&#8221; In about 90% of cases, you will be served &#8220;Korca&#8221; beer. The boulevards of Republic and Saint George form the heart of Korca, while Fan Noli Boulevard is also a popular place for locals to relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They are free to enter and open 24\/7.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boulevard Saint George is fully pedestrianized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan at least an hour for a leisurely stroll along these streets.
