Not many people have heard of this road, but it is undoubtedly <em>the most beautiful road in Albania<\/em>. Only a small part of it runs along well-trodden tourist routes. But what makes P\u00ebrmet truly special for travelers is its proximity (just 15 km away) to some incredible places:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Byzantine Bridge<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Benj\u00eb Hot Springs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Langarica Canyon<\/strong> \u2014 a stunning natural wonder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And the best part? All of these are <strong>free to visit and open to everyone<\/strong>! If you plan to rent a car in Albania, check out my detailed article on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/car-rental-in-albania\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2289\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">car rentals and tips<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"\u043f\u0443\u0442\u0435\u0448\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0438\u0435-\u043f\u043e-\u0434\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0433\u0435-\u043c\u0430\u0440\u0448\u0440\u0443\u0442\u044b\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Road_Trip_Along_SH75_Itineraries\"><\/span>Road Trip Along SH75: Itineraries<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few suggested routes \u2014 pick what works best for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 1 (Classic route):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start in <strong>Gjirokast\u00ebr<\/strong>, drive SH75 to <strong>Benj\u00eb Hot Springs<\/strong> and <strong>Langarica Canyon<\/strong> for a full day of exploration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overnight in <strong>P\u00ebrmet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next day, continue along SH75 all the way to <strong>Kor\u00e7\u00eb<\/strong>, or even further to <strong>Pogradec<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 2 (For true road trip lovers):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drive <strong>SH75 both ways<\/strong>, making it a round trip over one or two days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fun fact: in the mountains, <strong>the view in each direction is completely different<\/strong> \u2014 including SH75!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I recommend splitting the journey into <strong>two days<\/strong> with an overnight stay in Kor\u00e7\u00eb.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While Kor\u00e7\u00eb isn&#8217;t packed with sights, it has a <strong>brewery<\/strong> producing Albania&#8217;s most popular beer, with a <strong>brewpub<\/strong> for a great evening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 3 (If you&#8217;re short on time):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Skip the full route and focus on <strong>the most beautiful sections<\/strong> (see below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/themes\/maktub\/assets\/images\/transparent.gif\" data-lazy=\"true\" data-src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/07\/sh75-marshruti-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"permet sh75\" class=\"wp-image-2427\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>P\u00ebrmet \u2014 the largest town on SH75<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"\u0441\u0430\u043c\u044b\u0435-\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0441\u0438\u0432\u044b\u0435-\u0443\u0447\u0430\u0441\u0442\u043a\u0438-\u0442\u0440\u0430\u0441\u0441\u044b-sh75\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Most_Beautiful_Parts_of_SH75\"><\/span>The Most Beautiful Parts of SH75<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all 162 km are jaw-dropping \u2014 to be fair. For example, <strong>the final 30 km before Kor\u00e7\u00eb<\/strong> are quite ordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>So here\u2019s what <strong>you really need to know<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<cite>There are only <strong>two stunning sections<\/strong> of SH75 \u2014 each 20\u201330 km long. The rest varies in scenery.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First Beautiful Section<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong>: <em>40.258544, 20.054797<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End<\/strong>: <em>40.313321, 20.191777<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Length<\/strong>: 18 km<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time<\/strong>: ~30 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Features<\/strong>: Excellent asphalt, minimal switchbacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/themes\/maktub\/assets\/images\/transparent.gif\" data-lazy=\"true\" data-src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/07\/sh85-perv-uchastok-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"driving sh75\" class=\"wp-image-2424\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Smooth asphalt on the first scenic section<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Second Beautiful Section<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong>: <em>40.145095, 20.497630<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End<\/strong>: <em>40.153763, 20.600707<\/em> (in <strong>Leskovik<\/strong>) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Length<\/strong>: 23 km <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time<\/strong>: <strong>At least 1 hour<\/strong> (yes, 1 hour for 23 km \u2014 without stops!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Features<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lots of switchbacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mostly <strong>gravel road<\/strong>, but <strong>passable by any car<\/strong>, just <strong>slowly<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Important to Know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite>Most GPS apps will try to reroute you via <strong>SH80 and SH65<\/strong> to Leskovik. Don\u2019t be fooled \u2014 <strong>you want SH75<\/strong>!<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/themes\/maktub\/assets\/images\/transparent.gif\" data-lazy=\"true\" data-src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/07\/sh75-vtor-uch-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"road sh75\" class=\"wp-image-2431\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Gravel section of SH75 \u2014 authorities promised to pave this part soon<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/albania\/llogara-pass-and-karaburun-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Llogara Pass<\/a> road<\/strong> is considered the second most beautiful road in Albania \u2014 and it&#8217;s much easier to drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"\u0442\u0440\u0430\u0441\u0441\u0430-sh75-\u0433\u0434\u0435-\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0430\u043d\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0442\u044c\u0441\u044f-\u043d\u0430-\u043d\u043e\u0447\u0435\u0432\u043a\u0443\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_to_Stay_on_SH75\"><\/span>Where to Stay on SH75?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There aren\u2019t many towns along the road. You basically have <strong>two main options<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>P\u00ebrmet<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you haven\u2019t visited the hot springs yet, <strong>plan to stay 1\u20132 nights<\/strong> here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Langarica Canyon and Benj\u00eb Hot Springs<\/strong> easily take a full day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accommodation<\/strong>: Mostly <strong>guesthouses<\/strong> (they usually serve breakfast). Few apartments available.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2b50 <strong>Top choice<\/strong>: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tripadvisor.tp.st\/QwtFAK44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Funky GuestHouse<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 great ratings, central location on P\u00ebrmet\u2019s main square, they also organize <strong>rafting trips<\/strong> and <strong>horse riding<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/trip.tp.st\/SzCtKmCO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sotira Farm<\/a><\/strong> (for nature lovers). If you want <strong>peace and quiet<\/strong>, <strong>Sotira Farm<\/strong> is perfect. What is it?
