Actually, that\u2019s not entirely true: there\u2019s a local market, two large supermarkets (Tesco and Spar), lots of churches, and a handful of small regional museums.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The easiest way to get there is from Debrecen, as buses run much more frequently than from Budapest. Reaching Debrecen itself from the capital is simple\u2014more than 50 trains run daily. You\u2019ll also find information there about Debrecen\u2019s own aqua-thermal complex\u2014which might even convince you to skip Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3 altogether!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3 bus station is conveniently located just 100 meters from the entrance to the water park. From Debrecen, you can take the regional bus No. 4445 operated by Vol\u00e1nbusz. Tickets cost about \u20ac2.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.volanbusz.hu\/en\/timetable\/inter-urban-services\/lines\/line?menetrend=4445\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here\u2019s a direct link to the schedule for this specific bus<\/a> (you\u2019ll need to open the PDF file). Among the hundreds of timetables, look for route 4445: Debrecen\u2013Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buses run frequently\u2014almost every hour starting from 5 AM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tickets can be easily purchased at the bus station counter right before departure. Since this is a suburban route, there\u2019s no need to book in advance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternatively, you can also get from Debrecen to Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3 by train. Trains depart every 30 minutes, and the railway station in Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3 is about 3 km from the water park. A notable feature is a large lake within the complex, surrounded by hundreds of loungers. However, swimming in the lake is prohibited, as regular pools are available nearby. Even in January, you can enjoy a hot bath outdoors at this early hour. Closing times vary from 7 PM to 8 PM depending on the month. There are no time-bound tickets. Even if you arrive at Hungarospa an hour before closing, you&#8217;ll purchase a full-day ticket (with a few exceptions).<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Hungarospa&#8217;s aqua park comprises three zones along with a 50-meter swimming pool for training purposes. Access to the pool is included with any ticket purchase, but I won&#8217;t delve into it further as it&#8217;s generally less interesting for tourists, though worth noting it exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zone #1: Open Air or Beach covers 30 hectares of open area with numerous amusements, fast-food spots, pools, and loungers. It includes 13 open-air pools, 10 of which are for children, along with a wave pool, whirlpool, and jacuzzi. There are also courts for volleyball, football, and tennis. Visitors can even paddle boats on the lake. Additionally, there&#8217;s a separate area with slides called Aquapark, which requires an additional fee.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As mentioned earlier, it&#8217;s open from May to September, suitable for both children and adults.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, there is an Aquapark zone: 15 slides, many of them extreme. The height of some is 12 meters, and the total length of all slides is 1 km. An additional ticket is required here. Older children are allowed, but they might find it dull and uninteresting. Visitors come here for relaxation and tranquility; running and roughhousing are discouraged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Useful information:<\/p>\n<cite>In most thermal baths across the country, there are several saunas accessible to visitors. However, in Hajd\u00faszoboszl\u00f3, there&#8217;s only one sauna available for an additional fee, roughly 4 euros. You can purchase it on-site once inside. There&#8217;s no separate sauna complex; only hot thermal baths with water temperatures ranging from 36 to 38 degrees Celsius.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/hungary\/wp-content\/themes\/maktub\/assets\/images\/transparent.gif\" data-lazy=\"true\" data-src=\"https:\/\/travel-4-fun.com\/hungary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2023\/11\/haydusoboslo-6.jpg\" alt=\"hajdusoboslo hungary\" class=\"wp-image-2602\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">If you arrive early at the baths, there will be fewer people. The Hungarian forint&#8217;s exchange rate is not the most stable, and prices might fluctuate several times a year. Here are the ticket prices converted to euros as of late 2023. Remember, these tickets are valid for the entire day and are not time-restricted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thermal complex only (Zone #3): around 12 euros<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aqua-Palace, Thermal Bath (Zones #2 and #3): 24 euros<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All-zone access, including 15 slides in the Open Air zone: about 35 euros<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Air zone only (without aqua park slides): 12 euros. The Aqua-Palace in this ticket is a bonus; you can&#8217;t skip it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;re traveling with kids, consider: Are you prepared to take turns visiting the thermal baths while the other parent stays with the children? It&#8217;s better to visit more convenient water parks like Aquaticum in Debrecen or Aquapolis in Szeged. However, for adults without kids, the best time to visit is winter. Even though the summer section is closed, lounging in hot outdoor baths during winter is fantastic.
