They will give you a selected SIM card with a selected plan (more on that below) for free. The balance will be zero riyals and zero megabytes. To activate it, you need to top up the amount corresponding to the tariff plan. The SIM card will be activated automatically.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You can top up your SIM card in Qatar at stores that sell phones, cases, and accessories. Just go in and ask if they top up the balance. The logic is as follows: you give them money, they give you a receipt for the same amount (without fees). Enter the code from the receipt as USSD request on the phone with the local SIM card, and this amount will immediately be on your balance. Personally, I top up at Starlink network stores. I try to keep the information up-to-date and update this article 1-2 times a year. But it&#8217;s best to check current rates on the official websites of operators before your trip, or the consultants on-site can tell you.
